Otolaryngology

Our otolaryngologists at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital are physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat and neck. Our physicians see a variety of patients of different ages with a wide spectrum of conditions. Some of the younger children seen often develop middle ear infections. Frequent or severe episodes can result in a hearing deficit that can impair development of speech and language skills. Some serious conditions, such as narrowed or blocked air passages, can sometimes be life-threatening.

Additionally, our physicians are involved in multidisciplinary team efforts for care of children at Hope Children’s Hospital through such programs as the cleft palate clinic, as well as others.
