Cleft Palate Clinic/Craniofacial Clinic

The multidisciplinary team of pediatric subspecialists in the cleft palate clinic/craniofacial clinic at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital designs and coordinates individualized treatment plan to restore normal appearance and level of development. The team includes: a pediatric plastic surgeon, otolaryngologist, geneticist, speech-language pathologist, audiologist, nurse coordinator, psychologist, orthodontist, oral surgeon, pediatric neurosurgeon and neurodevelopmental pediatrician.

Parents receive ongoing instruction and support to cope with feeding problems, developmental issues and psychological or emotional challenges. The team also works closely with the child's primary care physician to ensure optimal, continued care.
