Sharing its campus with Advocate Christ Medical Center ideally positions Hope Children's Hospital to coordinate every level of care at a single location. This includes services required during gestation through neonatology, pediatrics, adolescent medicine and the transition to adult level care for a long-term or chronic condition.

Christ Medical Center's perinatologists work closely with the neonatology staff at Hope Children's Hospital to ensure coordinated care and transports. The division's capabilities include:

	Level II ultrasound, with colorflow Doppler
	Inter-uterine transfusion
	Percutaneous umbilical cord sampling (PUBS)
	Invasive fetal procedures
	Genetic amniocentesis and genetic counseling
	Chorionic villus sampling (CVI)
	Consultation for high-risk pregnancies
	Antenatal consultation

To ensure optimal, coordinated care, perinatologists maintain constant communication with the referring institution and the mother's obstetrician.
