Advocate Illinois Masonic Alternative Birthing Center has a home-like setting designed for low-risk women who prefer to give birth in a less technically oriented environment. In the Alternative Birthing Center, women attended by their physicians or nurse midwives give birth in queen-sized beds, in a soothing, comfortable setting, surrounded by the loved ones of their choosing and secure in the knowledge that highly advanced technology is immediately available if needed.
