Our nurse-midwives can be your health partners through many stages of life:

• Prenatal, labor, delivery and newborn care
• Well-woman gynecological care
• Pap smears, contraception and treatment of simple vaginal infections
• Family planning
• Health maintenance counseling and disease prevention

Women often find that having their baby with a nurse-midwife is a supportive and nurturing choice. Innovative birthing options for women and their families include our Alternative Birth Center, the Midwest's first facility of its kind.

As one of Chicago's largest and most experienced programs, we have provided more than 30 years of compassionate family-centered care. Some of our nurse-midwives have more than 10 years' experience with our midwifery service. Languages spoken include English, Spanish and Polish.
