In the Emergency Department at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, we offer several highly specialized services to provide the most comprehensive care possible for all our patients. Our specialized services include:
- Licensed social workers: Staff social workers can help patients and their families cope with the emotional aspects of illness and injury.
- Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners: Because these nurses are specially trained in working with victims of sexual assault, they are experts are providing compassionate care and treating these patients. In addition, they collect forensic evidence, counsel victims and testify in court, guiding and supporting victims through the entire process.
- Dentists: We have dentists on call around-the-clock to assist patients with injuries that involve the teeth and gums.
