Craig H. Gerstein, MD, brings skill and commitment to his work at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s Vision Correction Center. He received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. He then completed a residency in ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical Center, serving as chief resident. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Gerstein is a clinical instructor of ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical School and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society.
One of the Doctors Who Make History Dr. Gerstein is committed to staying on the leading edge in ophthalmological medicine. He specializes in small-incision, no-stitch cataract with lens implantation surgery, refractive (LASIK) procedures and cosmetic enhancements, such as Botox injections.
