Q. Where is the Outpatient Infusion Center located?
A. The Outpatient Infusion Center is located at 3000 N. Halsted Street, Suite 820. It is in the Medical Office Center on the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center campus, which is on the corner of Halsted Street and Wellington Avenue.
Q. Where can I park?
A. Patients may park in the Halsted Parking Garage, which is attached to the Medical Office Center. Patients can get their parking ticket validated for a discounted rate at their appointment.
Q. Will my insurance be accepted?
A. The Outpatient Infusion Center accepts many types of insurance. However, some plans and procedures may require pre-authorization. The Outpatient Infusion Center staff will submit the necessary forms to your insurance company.
Q. Can I bring visitors to my appointment?
A. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend with you to your appointment. However, due to space limitations and privacy concerns, we ask that any visitors wait in the reception lounge.
Q. Can I bring food with me to my appointment?
A. Patients are encouraged to bring snacks with them to their infusion appointments. We have a refrigerator and microwave in our kitchen area. Patients who are here longer than four hours can request a boxed lunch. Snacks and beverages are provided to all patients upon request.
Q. What resources are available to help pass the time during my infusion appointment?
A. Cable TV and magazines are available for patients in the infusion room. Patients who bring their own laptops can also access free Wi-Fi.
Q. Do you have pillows and blankets?
A. Yes, we provide pillows, blankets and recliner chairs. Patients can feel free to nap during their appointment.
