General Dental Residency Program:
The General Dental Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center is comprised of licensed dentists who have recently completed their dental training and have elected to spend their first year as a dental professional obtaining additional clinical and didactic experience within a hospital setting. Both general and specialized dental services are provided under the direction of dental faculty on staff. Some advantages of seeing a dentist in the General Dental Residency Program include: senior and extensive case discounts, no need to be referred out of the office for specialty services, complimentary specialist consults, when necessary and 24 hour emergency dentist on-call. Dentists in the General Practice Residency Program are providers under the First Commonwealth HMO and Preferred Dentist Plan with Metlife. Special Patient Dental Care Program:
The Special Patient Dental Care Program provides routine dental care to adults and children with developmental disabilities, including Down's Syndrome, mental retardation and cerebral palsy. The program is funded by donors including the Grottoes of North America and the Illinois Department of Mental Health or for qualifying patients. For more information, please contact 773.871.2188.
Wellington Dental Partners:
The Wellington Dental Partners consists of experienced general dentists and dental specialists on staff who maintain a private practice at the Dental Center. Patients are seen by appointment only. In addition to General Dentistry, specialty services in the following areas are offered: Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry, Periodontics and Prosthodontics. The Mobile Dentistry Program:
The Mobile Dentistry Program provides dental services to many underserved individuals in the Chicagoland area. This invaluable service reaches senior citizens, persons with disabilities, the homeless, immigrants and others who face difficulty accessing adequate dental care as a result of transportation, financial hardships or other barriers.
