October 29, 2013—Beam Raising Ceremony
On Tuesday, October 29, 2013, Illinois Masonic Medical Center hosted a Beam Raising Ceremony for the Center for Advoanced Care, where hospital leaders and community members gathered to watch the final beam be lifted onto the structure and celebrate this important milestone in the construction process.

March 28, 2013—Community Parking at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center
Illinois Masonic Medical Center offers its local community up to 66 assigned parking spaces in a hospital parking facility.
Eligible community members may request parking privileges by contacting the hospital’s parking manager at 773.296.5434. If spaces are available, a parking application will need to be completed and proof of permanent residence must be provided.

Once the number of community parkers exceeds the number of allotted spaces a selection process will be conducted by Central Lake View Neighbors (CLVN) to determine who will eligible for parking during the 12 months beginning each November 1st. CLVN will not be financially responsible for any fees or parking rates for any eligible individual who is selected for the parking program.

November 16, 2012—Site Utility Upgrades
From mid-November 2012 to February 2013, utility work will be performed along Dayton Street beginning at Wellington Avenue and moving north to Nelson Street. Construction will then move west along Nelson. The construction crews’ planned working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Only when necessary, work may be extended past 5 p.m. but no later than 8 p.m., per City of Chicago ordinance.
