The services and treatments we offer include:
- Colonoscopy: An internal examination of the colon
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP): A procedure used to identify stones, tumors or narrowing in the bile ducts
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD): An internal examination of the lining of the esophagus, stomach and upper duodenum
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG tube): Insertion of a feeding tube through the abdominal wall into the stomach during an EGD
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy: An internal examination of the inside of the lower portion of the colon, called the sigmoid colon
- Radiofrequency ablation therapy: A minimally invasive treatment for Barrett’s esophagus, a condition that can lead to esophageal cancer
- Capsule endoscopy: A procedure in which the patient swallows a capsule with a camera on it, which takes pictures of the inside of the gastrointestinal tract
- Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR): A procedure in which a physician removes cancerous tissues or lesions from a patient’s digestive tract
- Laparoscopic assisted endoscopic polyp removal: A minimally invasive procedure used to remove polyps
- Endoscopic ultrasound: A procedure in which a physician inserts an endoscope and gathers ultrasound images of the inside of the digestive tract
- Colonic stent placement: Insertion of a small tube to hold open a colon obstruction and allow food and liquid to pass through more easily
- Esophageal stent placement: Insertion of a small tube to hold open a blocked or narrowed part of the esophagus to help a patient swallow more easily
- Three-dimensional endorectal ultrasonography: A procedure used for rectal cancer staging
- High-resolution, three-dimensional esophageal manometry: A procedure used to measure the muscle contractions in your esophagus
- High-resolution, three-dimensional anorectal manometry: A procedure used to measure the muscle contractions in your anus and rectum
