Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center leads the way with a variety of innovative primary care and specialty care centers dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the diverse communities we serve. In addition to primary care centers with family practitioners, obstetricians and internal medicine physicians, Illinois Masonic is home to specialty care centers offering integrative medicine, physical rehabilitation, developmental pediatrics, asthma, diabetes, wound care, mental health and more. Plus, Illinois Masonic has one of the largest private medical residency programs in Illinois, with more than 200 residents providing services in collaboration with attending physicians.

This home-like setting is designed for low-risk women who prefer to give birth in a less technically oriented environment. In the Alternative Birthing Center, women attended by their physicians or nurse midwives give birth in queen-sized beds, in a soothing, comfortable setting, surrounded by the loved ones of their choosing and secure in the knowledge that highly advanced technology is immediately available if needed.

This specialized center combines highly qualified staff with state-of-the-art technology to provide comprehensive obstetric care for both mother and unborn child, including ultrasounds performed by specially trained perinatalogists who can immediately diagnose conditions and establish a course of treatment.
Advocate Illinois Masonic Asthma Learning Center

Asthma patients and their families learn to become partners in care and get tips on managing asthma at the Asthma Learning Center. The program provides instruction in all aspects of asthma education. Individual sessions are available by appointment; group classes are scheduled twice a week. Education is available in English, Spanish and Polish. All sessions are free.
