At Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital and Advocate Hope Children's Hospital, our mission is all about serving children-yours. Our team of experts understands that every child is special and important, and every child should be cared for based on their specific needs. With two of the largest and most comprehensive children's hospitals in Illinois, Advocate's Children's Hospitals are recognized throughout Illinois and the Midwest as major pediatric referral centers.
Lutheran General Children's Hospital, located in Park Ridge, Illinois, has been caring for children for more than 15 years. The comprehensive hospital houses 57 beds and is staffed by more than 200 pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.
Advocate Hope Children's Hospital, located in Oak Lawn, Illinois, is one of the Chicago area's most recently established children's hospitals, opening in 1996. More than 140 pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists staff the modern 64-bed hospital.
Both children's hospitals house pediatric trauma centers, are level III perinatal facilities and have level III neonatal intensive care units, the highest designation in Illinois. With specialists in virtually every medical specialty, Lutheran General Children's Hospital and Hope Children's Hospital are the largest providers of pediatric services in Illinois.
