With two of the largest and most comprehensive children's hospitals in Illinois, Advocate Children's Hospitals are recognized throughout Illinois and the Midwest as major pediatric referral centers.

Hope Children's Hospital, located in Oak Lawn, Illinois, opened its doors in 1996. More than 140 pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists staff the modern 64-bed hospital.

Lutheran General Children's Hospital, located in Park Ridge, Illinois, has been caring for children for more than 15 years. The comprehensive hospital houses 57 beds and is staffed by more than 200 pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.

Both children's hospitals house pediatric trauma centers, are level III perinatal facilities and have level III neonatal intensive care units, the highest designation in Illinois. With specialists in virtually every medical specialty, Hope Children's Hospital and Lutheran General Children's Hospital combined are the largest providers of pediatric services in Illinois.
