Front Line Leadership Development

Nurses on the frontline have nothing to fear at Advocate. 
The frontline leader in healthcare faces a multitude of challenges, often assuming a leadership role without prior management experience.  At Advocate Health Care, frontline leaders are the focus of an extensive program of continuing education and training designed to enhance their effectiveness through building skills in communication, coaching and conflict management.  Through didactic and experiential learning experiences such as role play and self-assessment, learners sharpen their leadership acumen real life work issues in a safe setting.  RNs participating in these courses can receive contact hours if they meet course requirements.  

Preceptor Courses are offered in several specialty areas to aid in mentoring new and experienced associates.
