Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital are located 15 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and four miles north of O’Hare International Airport.

From the north, take the Tri-State Tollway I-294 south. Exit at Golf Road and travel east on Golf Road to Potter Road. Turn right on Potter and travel south to Dempster Street. Turn left on Dempster and travel east to the hospital.

From the south, take the Tri-State Tollway I-294 north. Exit at Dempster Street east. Travel one-half mile east on Dempster to the hospital. From the southwest, take I-88 or I-55 east to Tri-State I-294 north and follow above directions.

From the east, take the Edens Expressway I-94 north. Exit at Dempster Street west. Continue west on Dempster to the hospital.

From the west, take the Northwest Tollway I-90 east to the Tri-State Tollway I-294 north. Exit on Dempster Street east. Travel one-half mile east on Dempster to the hospital.

Parking:
There is ample parking at the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital campus. There are two parking garages. The south garage is located directly in front of the main hospital for a minimal fee. The north garage is located across campus. Shuttle bus service is provided. There is free reserved parking for families visiting the children's outpatient pavilion located directly behind the building. There is also a free surface lot adjacent to the north garage. Again shuttle bus service is provided. There is also handicapped parking directly in front of the main hospital.
There are special discounts available for families of patients who have extended stays at the hospital.
