Lutheran General Children's Hospital offers a family-centered, multidisciplinary approach to provide treatment for infants, children, and young adults with cancer and blood disorders. Each child is treated by a team of skilled and experienced physicians, surgeons, nurses, nutritionists, advanced practice nurses, pharmacists, and child and family support staff - all solely dedicated to caring for children and young adults. We also offer transfusion services, as well as lab and x-ray services on site, which allow us to receive immediate test results.

We have the latest advances in diagnostics and treatment for virtually all childhood cancers and childhood hematology and blood disorders, including:

• Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center - One of the few pediatric brain tumor centers in Illinois.
• Ambient Experience CT Suite - Lutheran General Children's Hospital is proud to be the first in the world to offer this innovation that helps our young patients be more at ease during a CT scan.
• Intra-Operative MRI - A powerful magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner allows neurosurgeons to more safely remove brain tumors.
• Pediatric Oncology Research - Participate in the most up-to-date national protocols and research trials available.
