Each child and family that comes to our brain tumor center is unique! Your child's plan of care is based upon many variables-tumor location in the brain, the grade of the tumor, family support systems, distance from the hospital, etc.....
You and your child will be paired up with an advanced practice nurse(APN) who will be your guide through the entire journey of treatment and follow-up care. Once your child's diagnosis has been established a treatment plan will be developed and appropriate team members will be consulted.
Upon your child's admission a core team of experts are consulted prior to a diagnosis being established. Once a diagnosis is determined additional consultations may be needed.

All of our nurses and physicians are board certified in their specialty areas and participate in research and clinical trials. Please click on the individual names for more information.
It's important for the kids to be heard and have some input into the decision-making process. So, we gave the kids a chance to conduct their own interviews of our physicians....
