In addition to our quality inpatient programs, Child and Teen Life offer a number of programs and services to help make life a little easier and more pleasant for pediatric outpatients and their families. These include:
Pre-Surgical Tours
Oncology Clinic
Emergency Room
Child Life specialist is available to provide services upon ER registration by offering support throughout ER visit. These services include:
- Support and assistance for patient, and family members, including siblings
- Patient education/preparation prior to test and procedures
- Distraction and accompanied during procedures
- Diversional activities to occupy patients including play materials that are age and developmentally appropriate
