The Oncology Family Support Group was created to help families deal with the issues and adjustments related to cancer and its impact on their lives. Support group sessions provide an opportunity for patients and their families to:

  • Listen to experts discuss various topics of interest
  • Participate in activities
  • Share experiences and concerns with others

Separate sessions are offered for patients, parents and siblings. A teen support group is also available for high school age patients and siblings. Following the sessions, patients and their families are invited to socialize and use facility resources.
