The Audiology and Hearing Instrument Program at Lutheran General Children's Hospital combines clinical excellence with compassionate care in providing diagnostic, counseling and hearing aid dispensing services. We emphasize early and accurate diagnosis and take pride in promoting a well-organized, high quality, cost effective environment for all our patients and their families.

Of course, the quality of any health care service depends on the skill and experience of the care givers. All of the audiologists are either masters-prepared or have a clinical doctorate. The staff are licensed and certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Ongoing professional education and specialty credentialing ensures expertise across the full spectrum of audiological services offered, including hearing aid dispensing, and early intervention credentialed.

Are staff trained in age-appropriate techniques in order to test children'ts hearing. We work closely with families to facilitate an understanding of hearing loss and provide appropriate intervention strategies for children.
