Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Welcomes General Surgeon Fabio Sbrana, MD
Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is pleased to welcome general surgeon and da Vinci® robotic system expert Fabio Sbrana, MD. He is seeing patients at AMG – Park Ridge – General Surgery and The Center for Robotic Surgery at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL.

Dan, MD, FACP. “In addition to his outstanding reputation as a general surgeon, he’s recognized internationally for his expertise in several areas of the robotic platform for minimally invasive surgery, including pancreatic and hepatobiliary disease.”
Dr. Sbrana studied medicine at Pisa University in Pisa, Tuscany-Italy. He completed a residency in digestive surgery and surgical endoscopy at Pisa University and in thoracic surgery at University of Siena in Siena, Tuscany.
He describes his philosophy of care as follows: “I feel it is important to offer all patients the most current, highest standard of care and to always have an eye to the future.”
Dr. Sbrana is board certified in general surgery. He is now accepting new patients.
