IT’S BASEBALL TIME FOR ALL CHILDREN AT ADVOCATE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL- PARK RIDGE
Park Ridge Ill. – On Thursday, January 17, at 1:30PM, the Chicago Cubs Caravan - a mix of 8 players, coaches and executives, will make a stop at Advocate Children’s Hospital. During this visit, the caravan will make the children’s day by meeting them for an all about baseball afternoon, filled with baseball talk, photos, laughs and autographs.
Our little patients will not only meet the players, but spend the afternoon participating in fun baseball themed activities. For patients who are unable to leave their rooms, Cubs players or coaches will stop by and meet them as well.
Representatives of the news media will have an opportunity to videotape and photograph the Cubs’ hospital visit as the players interact with the children and visiting family members. This is the first Cubs visit this year to Advocate Children’s Hospital, offering a great opportunity to bring all little fans a bit of Wrigley Field to their place of care. Representatives and a player of the Cubs organization also stopped at the Oak Lawn Campus on Wednesday, January 16.
