Construction of the new patient tower at Lutheran General has temporarily limited the use of some parking areas on the hospital campus.

Patients and visitors should park in the Lutheran General Center for Advanced Care garage, which is next to the Center for Advanced Care at the southwest corner of Dempster Street and Luther Lane. You may be charged a minimal parking fee. Free round-trip shuttle service from the garage to the hospital and Parkside Center is available from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Valet and overflow parking is offered in the main garage, located in front of the hospital. Yacktman Pavilion patients should use the free reserved parking area behind the pavilion on the east side of the Lutheran General campus.

Designated handicapped parking is available in all patient and visitor parking areas.

There are special discounts for families of patients who have extended stays at the hospital.
