Brian Chicoine, M.D.
Dr. Chicoine is the Medical Director of the center and on the Family Medicine faculty at Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Chicoine specializes in the area of adults Down syndrome and has been with the center since its inception in 1992.

Erin Dominiak, M.D
Dr. Dominiak joined the practice in September of 2007. She did several rotations as a medical student and as a Family Medicine Resident. She has also been involved in a number of research studies at the Center.

Dennis McGuire, Ph.D
Dr. McGuire is the Director of Psychosocial Services. He has thirty years of clinical experience in both the mental health and disability fields. He has been with the center since its inception in 1992.

Carol Machiela, LPN II
Carol joined our practice in September 2009. She has been an Advocate employee since July 1984 and brings clinical skills and experience in working with special needs patients in an outpatient and a residential setting.

Eileen Walsh
Eileen Walsh is a registered and licensed dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Education. She has extensive experience in the areas of wellness and health prevention, weight management, sports nutrition and eating disorders. She has provided nutrition services to the Adult Down Syndrome Center since 1993.

Janet Bilodeau, CNP
Janet is our experienced Nurse Practitioner and has been with the center since April 2002. Prior to coming to the Adult Down Syndrome Center she worked in rehabilitative services at Lutheran General Hospital. She brings an abundance of knowledge to our center in the areas of orthopaedics and geriatric medicine.

Shirley Lange
Shirley is our Patient Representative, greeting and scheduling appointments, and managing other key office tasks for our patients. She provides our office with organizational skills that aid in the total quality care of our patients.

Carol Jacobsen
Carol is our experienced Patient Services. She is an integral part of the team by helping to type hundreds of pages of medical and psychosocial reports every week for our patients.

Pauline Norton, MSM
Pauline started with Advocate Medical Group in 2008 and joined the center as the Practice Manager in September, 2010.

Maureen Sullivan Collins Community Relations Representative
Maureen has over 20 years experience working in human service and development with a strong background working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. Maureen role with ADSC is working in collaboration with community members to support adults with Down syndrome and identifying new opportunities to support the mission of promoting health in adults with Down syndrome.

Merrily Smith
Merrily is a patient advocate and joined our team in 2011. She is the parent of an adult son with Down syndrome and brings her years of experience in working with families of children with intellectual disabilities to the position.

Grace O'Connor
As a patient advocate, Grace joined the ADSC team in 2011, bringing many years of experience working with children with disabilities. She links patients and their families with community services and resources.
