Our service begins as soon as you join the Lutheran General Fitness Center and continues as long as you're a member.
Prior to beginning your exercise program, you will receive a free, Personal Fitness Profile® consultation to outline the best plan for you.
- Personal Fitness Profile- This comprehensive assessment tests your aerobic capacity, flexibility, body composition , blood pressure and strength. Then we examine your exercise patterns to understand your lifestyle and your fitness goals.
- Nutrition Consultation- We provide practical ways to incorporate healthy eating into your lifestyle, to help achieve your goals.
- Individual Exercise Plan- We design a customized plan that works for you. It's your personal road map for success.
- Center and Equipment Orientation- We show you how to use all of our equipment, to help you feel comfortable working out with us and decrease your risk for injuries.
Once your profile is completed, one of our exercise physiologists will consult with you and design a safe and effective wellness program to help meet your goals. Other fitness profiles can be scheduled periodically to help motivate and measure progress.
Our certified trainers provide a full range of support services - from formal exercise sessions to advice on using a specific piece of equipment. Because we limit our membership, we're able to get to know you individually, which means we can continue to assist you as your fitness condition progresses and goals change.
