Renal Diuretic What is the purpose of this scan? How is this scan performed? You will lie on a table. A camera that can detect radioactivity will take images from under the table. It is very important to hold still for these pictures. The input through the IV and output through the catheter will also be monitored. You should plan for your procedure to take about one hour and 30 minutes. How do I prepare for this scan? How will I feel after I have a renal diuretic scan? How soon will my doctor get the results? How do I make an appointment? If I still have questions, who should I call? |
