Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
Lutheran General’s Congestive Heart Failure Program, located at the Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Center, is a comprehensive outpatient program designed to strengthen the heart, improve health and monitor change. Through periodic telephone contact and physician office visits, patients at risk for congestive heart failure benefit from infusion therapy, medications, supervised exercise, nutrition consultations and other services to aggressively treat the condition. This outpatient program is useful in restoring cardiac health and reducing the number of avoidable hospital stays.

Cardiac Rehabilitation & Wellness
Getting back to “normal” is an important part of cardiac care. Our comprehensive recovery and rehabilitation program helps people with heart disease achieve their optimal level of cardiovascular health and can help to restore confidence following a heart attack, heart bypass surgery, angioplasty or other heart problem.

Cardiac rehabilitation services include an individualized program of monitored exercise, education and behavioral changes. This program is open to patients, with a referral from their physician, who receive care at other cardiac facilities.
