Emergency Care
A Level I Trauma Center, Lutheran Generals newly renovated Emergency Department is among the most sophisticated in the northwest suburbs. If an emergency situation develops, it is an ideal facility for comprehensive cardiac care. Utilizing our chest pain protocol, emergency physicians can quickly diagnosis cardiac conditions and differentiate heart problems from other non-cardiac conditions with similar symptoms. Medication and other treatments to alleviate blood clots, reverse potential heart failure and minimize trauma are among the routine medical interventions completed in our Emergency Department.
