Family-Centered Care

You and your newborn are at the heart of everything we do, but we never lose sight of the importance of family involvement. That’s why we offer flexible visiting hours for significant others, grandparents and siblings so that they may share in this joyous event.

If you choose to breastfeed, you will be visited by a lactation educator to help you get off to a smooth start. Your baby can room-in with you as much as you like—and when you need time to rest, we’ll see that your newborn receives expert care in our newborn nursery. The safety of you and your baby is of utmost importance to us, so we have state-of-the-art infant security and anti-switching systems in place.

During your stay with us, our nurses will teach you everything from the basics of newborn care to caring for yourself once you’re home. We regularly hold infant care classes and also offer infant care instruction on our patient education channel.
