Surgery

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital provides around-the-clock surgical care for adult and pediatric heart patients (open heart surgery). Additionally, our surgical intensive care unit (SICU) provides care for the most serious patients, and we provide telemetry beds for 24-hour monitoring. Surgical procedures done at Lutheran General include:
