We respect that learning about your baby’s diagnosis may be filled with uncertainty and concern. Our goal is to be responsive, providing information, support and best recommendations. We are ready to connect you to resources and information so you can make the best choices for your baby’s care.
You can expect to receive compassionate care from experienced teams of physicians, nurses and other caregivers who understand that every patient’s needs are unique and important.
Please know our team of physicians and Advanced Practice Nurses are here to support you, your baby, and your family by providing the following care as you choose:
- Learn your goals of care for your baby and family
- Expert evaluation and care during pregnancy, delivery and after birth
- Help your family meet with a neonatologist and offering a tour of the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before your baby is born
- Assist your family in meeting with pediatric sub-specialists and other health care team members such as pastoral care, social workers, child life or lactation specialists
- Share the goals of care for your baby with your physician, the maternal fetal medicine, labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care teams
- Help support you during your pregnancy and at the time of delivery
- Help coordinate your baby’s care after birth
When a referral is made to the Center for Fetal Care, a team of physicians, advance practice nurses and interdisciplinary team members will work together to coordinate your care.
