Advocate Christ Medical Center, a Level I trauma center for adults and children, is a leader in the care of life-threatening injuries. This allows us the opportunity to offer superior training and field continuing education for those pursuing a career in emergency care as a technician, paramedic or nurse.
Christ Medical Center also serves the Chicagoland area as the designated disaster RHCC hospital for Emergency Medical Services in Region VII. As the RHCC hospital, Christ Medical Center is responsible for coordinating disaster medical response upon activation of the State Emergency Medical Disaster Plan by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
