Welcome to the website for the University of Illinois at Chicago- Advocate Christ Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program. The strength of our training program lies in the quality of our residents, the excellence and commitment of our attending staff, combined with a large and diverse patient base. My goal is to fuse these components to provide an educational experience that stimulates and challenges the residents to take initiative, while still being appropriately supervised. The program also emphasizes patient-focused teaching. With Noon Report, a School system for didactics, Journal Club, Grand Rounds, and Morbidity and Mortality Conference the program provides hours of didactic teaching each week. In keeping with our focus on primary care, all second- and third-year residents have two ambulatory continuity care clinics each week and most specialty rotations have a significant outpatient component. Advocate Christ Medical Center provides an exceptional training site to learn internal medicine. We would be happy to give you the opportunity to join us.
