Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Children’s Hospital - Lawn face a critical convergence of clinical opportunity and community need. In a relatively short period of time, we have developed world-class care capabilities and both hospitals have positioned themselves to remain among the very best adult and pediatric hospitals in the entire country.

A track record for excellence and location in the fastest-growing region of the Chicago area has resulted in demand for services that far exceeds our current capacities.  In response, to simultaneously advance world-class medical care for the people of Chicago’s Southland and beyond and to ensure that all area residents have access to that care when they need it, Christ Medical Center and Advocate Children’s Hospital – Oak Lawn continue implementation of visionary strategic plans.

As the plans become reality, capital funds will be committed to expand adult and pediatric ambulatory and inpatient capacity.  This will also allow for continued development of clinical services and achievement of outstanding results; in particular this year we will be showcasing the accomplishments of our adult and pediatric cancer programs.

The shape of what takes place on our campus will be impacted by early philanthropic gifts, as key donors and new friends recognize their opportunity to influence many key elements of the plan.
