Advocate South Suburban Hospital names new president
Advocate South Suburban Hospital, in Hazel Crest, Ill., has announced a new hospital president. In his new role, Michael W. Englehart will be responsible for leading the Advocate South Suburban Hospital service area and its operations. Previously, Englehart served as vice president of professional services at Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill., and Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago.
"Mike Englehart has established a proven record of impactful leadership at Advocate Health Care," said Bill Santulli, Advocate Health Care's executive vice president and chief operating officer. "We are confident that he will help successfully guide Advocate South Suburban Hospital toward fulfilling its faith-based mission in the communities it serves."
Prior to his time at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Englehart served as vice president of revenue management at Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc., in Hammond, Ind. He also held leadership positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP; Health Receivables Management, LLC; and CCC Information Services, Inc.
Englehart earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University, in DeKalb, Ill., a Master of Business Administration at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Ill., and Master of Arts at Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. He and his wife, Terri and their four children reside in Palos Heights, Ill.
