Advocate South Suburban Hospital physicians named "Top Doctors"
Two members of the medical staff at Advocate South Suburban Hospital, in Hazel Crest, Ill., were listed as "Top Doctors" in the January 2010 issue of Chicago magazine.In cooperation with Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd., the magazine annually presents the best physicians in 57 different medical specialties.This year, 347 physicians were listed.
Nephrologist Ronald Hamburger, M.D., was identified as a leader by his peers through mail and telephone surveys and electronic ballots complied by Castle Connolly.Ophthalmologist Thomas John, M.D., was identified as a highly skilled, exceptional physician using the same criteria, and was also one of only six specialists featured in the magazine.
