Bridges named manager of misson and spiritual care & volunteer services
MARCH 24, 2014 - Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill. is pleased to announce the appointment of Chaplain Horace A. Bridges as Manager of Spiritual Care, Guest and Volunteer Services.
Bridges, a resident of Richton Park, Ill., brings more than 14 years of pastoral and guest relations experience to his new position. He joined South Suburban in 2000 and has had a variety of roles in leadership at both the site and Advocate Health Care system level.
He has led the hospital’s associate giving campaign and has been an integral part of the implementation of the Advocate Experience patient service strategy. He has coordinated multidisciplinary teams in the hospital to improve patient relations in the areas of conflict and service recovery.

Jackson, Vice President of Mission and Spiritual Care at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. “His background in hotel management and pastoral care position him well to influence change and drive service excellence and enhance overall guest and volunteer services.
Prior to joining Advocate, Bridges spent eight years in leadership in hotel management leadership roles in Chicago, and he has served in several ministerial leadership roles in his Church. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Florida A&M University.
