Inpatient Care and Monitoring
Our cardiology department includes a fully equipped 14-bed intensive care unit for individuals with severe heart disease and a 57-bed telemetry unit for 24-hour monitoring of patient heart activity.
Outpatient Pacemaker Implantation
In addition to surgical implantation of a pacemaker while in the operating room, our cardiologists determine which patients may be appropriate for surgical implantation while in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This gives patients the option of having an outpatient surgery resulting in a minimal stay, but still with intense monitoring.

Congestive Heart Failure Program
The Congestive Heart Failure Program is a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient program designed to:
- strengthen the heart
- improve health
- monitor change
Regular visits to the program, office and phone contact initiated by our staff, along with infusion therapy, nutrition consultation and other services help patients at risk for congestive heart failure work to restore cardiac health and reduce hospitalization.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Getting back to normal is an important part of cardiac care. Our recovery and rehabilitation program helps people with heart disease regain their strength and lead an active healthy, life after a heart attack. Services include:
