• blood pressure reading
• cholesterol test
• heart rhythm test
• carotid artery scan

In addition, South Suburban Hospital also offers a combined Heart and Stroke Risk Assessment. This assessment costs $75 includes all the above elements in addition to:

• EKG exercise test
• body fat analysis
• total cholesterol and glucose test

Within an hour, both tests are examined by a cardiologist and a vascular surgeon, then forwarded to your doctor. If you're over 50, we strongly suggest you get checked for both heart and stroke risk.
