Gail D. Hasbrouck
Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel

Gail D. Hasbrouck has served as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since the 1995 merger between EHS Health Care and Lutheran General HealthSystem. Prior to the merger, Hasbrouck served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for EHS Health Care.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, Hasbrouck earned a Master of Arts Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Northwestern University School of Law.

Hasbrouck is past chair of the planning committee of the Corporate Counsel Institute at Northwestern University School of Law and chair of The Council of One Hundred, an organization of Northwestern University Women Alumnae. She is a member of the Visiting Committee for Northwestern University School of Law.

Hasbrouck was a board member of the American Academy of Hospital Attorneys of the American Hospital Association for five years and chair of the In-House Counsel Committee for three years. She also has served as president and board member of the Illinois Association of Hospital Attorneys. She was previously adjunct associate professor at George Williams College in Downers Grove and lecturer for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
