throughout the northwest Chicago area. Its primary and specialty care physicians
are dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate, convenient services for the
entire family.
Advocate Medical Group is part of Advocate Health Care, one of the top health
care systems in the country and the largest fully integrated health care delivery
system in Illinois.

- Staffs neonatologists in the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Intensive
Care Unit (NICU), which consistently ranks in the top ten percent of NICUs
throughout the nation
Community Commitment and Philanthropy
Advocate Medical Group proudly serves the people of its many communities by
offering a full range of primary and specialty health care services, and supporting
programs that serve the community. Examples include:
- Operates the Addiction Treatment Program that addresses the physical,
emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients and their families
- Operates the Adult Down Syndrome Center that offers comprehensive medical
resources and psychosocial care for adult down syndrome patients
- Assists physicians and nurses with a wide variety of issues including substance
abuse and stress-related problems through the Illinois Professionals Health
Program
- Provides comprehensive medical and mental health services through a schoolbased
health center for the students of Maine East High School, Park Ridge—
17 percent of whom lack health care insurance
- Supports Advocate Lutheran General Hospital’s residency programs, supporting
fellowships in cardiology, neonatology, geriatrics, and sports medicine
- Offers patients a comprehensive evaluation, multi-disciplinary treatment and
support for family members through the Memory Assessment and Alzheimer’s
Center
Advanced Technologyy
- Utilizes Touchworks, hand-held computers that allow physicians to collect
patient data, order ancillary services and record charges
- Provides services to Central DuPage Hospital for imaging of maternal fetal
studies
- Consolidation of the information systems and telecommunications activities
of Advocate Medical Group, Advocate Health Partners and Advocate Health
Centers has improved efficiencies among the groups
- Manages a data center for physician groups at Advocate Medical Group,
Advocate Health Partners, Advocate Health Centers and High Tech
