Savory Steamed Skewers

6cups chicken broth
2boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2frozen fish fillets or 1/2 lb. shrimp
1green pepper
1onion
1pound fresh mushrooms
16-oz. can water chestnuts
1box frozen pea pods
115-oz. can pineapple chunks
wooden skewers

Cut all meat and vegetables into chunks. Alternate pieces of meat and vegetables on the skewers. Heat broth to boiling. Simmer skewers in broth about four to five minutes or until done. Serve with a variety of sauces such as teriyaki, low-fat salad dressi ng or barbecue sauce.
