The goal of the 2008 conference is to improve the quality of patient care by challenging
participants to examine current factors impacting outcomes through the lens of humans as resources in the workplace.

A Day With Your Brain

Presented by The Neuroscience Institute of Advocate Christ Medical Center.

Conference Objectives:

  • Describe the most current treatment options for Epilepsy, Vascular Dementias, Stroke, Cognitive Impairments and Movement Disorders.
  • Discuss the role of the Neurosurgeon and the Neuro Endovascular Radiologist in the treatment of aneurysms and vascular abnormalities.
  • Identify embolics most often used for AMV embolization.
  • Identify techniques for enhancing brain fitness.
  • Incorporate the role of the Neurologist, the Neuro Endovascular Radiologist and the Neurosurgeon in the identification and treatment of stroke.
