The Clinical Trials and Research Offices for Adult and Pediatric Studies were established to integrate and centralize research conducted across the Advocate Health Care System.

"In 2006, Advocate served the health needs of 3.1 million individuals through its 200 sites of care. Services included 17,144 newborn deliveries, 37,650 surgeries, 143,369 inpatient admissions and 2,963,066 outpatient visits."
