Advocate’s Children’s Hospitals have strong pediatric cardiology programs that are focused on the latest care of children and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease. Both sites have been involved in clinical trials and The Heart Institute for Children (THIC) at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital has been a center for research related to new cardiac devices for children, cardiac pathology and molecular biology, and advances in cardiac echo imaging.
