University of Illinois at Chicago
Advocate Health Care and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine have established a long-term academic relationship. This brings Advocate together with a nationally recognized medical research and clinical teaching center that emphasizes primary care. The University of Illinois is the direct sponsor of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Advocate Christ Medical Center, giving it recognition as a university training program.

Advocate Christ Medical Center offers or participates in accredited residency programs in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family practice, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, pediatrics, radiology, general surgery, trauma surgery and urology. In addition, the medical center offers accredited fellowships in adult and pediatric cardiology as well as pediatric critical care.

Advocate Christ Medical Center Facilities
The medical center offers excellent diagnostic capabilities including on-site magnetic resonance imaging, renal dialysis, cardiac catheterization, pediatric and adult open-heart surgery and neurosurgical procedures. Specialty areas include the leading cardiovascular program in the Northern Illinois, the busiest trauma unit in Illinois, and a recognized oncology program. Advocate Christ Medical Center is also home to a new state-of-the-art Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
