The clinical base experience is composed of 12 months of rotations, which include floor medicine (two-month minimum), surgery (two-month minimum), SICU or MICU, cardiology, pulmonology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and obstetrics. This represents 10 months of clinical rotations during which the resident has responsibility for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a variety of medical and surgical problems. A total of two months may be spent in anesthesiology, radiology and/or pathology. (No more than one month of this time may be spent in anesthesiology.)

Minimum requirements for review of file:

  • USMLE/COMLEX scores of 80 on a single attempt for both Step I and Step II
  • Generally applicants with a green card or citizenship are accepted into this program.
