Journal Club
Meets one to two times per month. Dental residents and faculty will present articles following an evidence-based approach. Instructions will include defining different types of scientific studies, defining a clinical question, and assessing validity and relevance of dental investigations. Residents will develop a clinical question, perform a literature search to find relevant articles, and present the articles following an evidence-based approach, twice during the year.

Public Health
Seminars meet throughout the year and will cover basic topics in disease prevention, epidemiology, and dental needs of underserved populations.

Biweekly Conferences
Seminars will be held every Monday and Friday morning and will cover a wide range of topics, including oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, oral pathology, implants, sedation techniques and business aspects of a dental practice.
