Special Features:

Adolescent Medicine
Clinical experiences during pediatric, adolescent and community medicine rotations at a school-based health center operated by the family practice residency program.

Community Medicine
Opportunities during community medicine rotation and also throughout residency to work at local health care facilities serving special needs populations in the Ravenswood community.

Obstetrics Track
A longitudinal track for those residents desiring additional obstetrics training, leading to greater volume of deliveries and obstetric procedures.

Osteopathic Track
A three-year training program for osteopaths consisting of a half-day of osteopathic manipulative medicine training each month taught by Kenneth Nelson, D.O.

Osteopaths participating in this program will graduate with an American Osteopathic Association Internship Certification and an American Academy of Family Practice Board Eligibility.

Procedure Training
Biweekly small group workshops to teach and assess competence in the procedures essential for family physicians.
